23-26 January 2017 QA Peer Learning Stakeholders Workshop in Yerevan, Armenia

From 23rd to 26th January, 2017 The National Centre for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation (ANQA) hosted in Yerevan the QA Peer Learning Stakeholders Workshop, activity included in WP4.

The workshop and meetings were conducted and monitored by representatives of the project Coordinator University of Macerata (UNIMR), ANQA, Student Partnerships in Quality Scotland (SPARQS), European Students’ Union (ESU) and attended by students and employees of Quality Assurance Division from the Armenian University of Economics (ASUE).

 

During the four-days-workshop ASUE and project partner Armenian universities’ students became acquainted with the experience of the institutional accreditation process, the need for students’ participation and opportunities. Effective change of experience was offered by the presentations of the “Students’ participation in QA in the University of Vigo”, “Strengthening the impact of QA in the University of Malta”, as well as by the “QA agenda in Europe”.

During the meetings ASUE employees, as representatives of the 4th working package (WP4), presented the work done and the results. Leading specialist of Quality Assurance Division, Maria Petrosyan, presented the report concerning the students’ trainings, workshops and experience exchange visits to EU partner universities. Discussions followed about the project duration, achievements and future actions. Further debates focused on students’ involvement as members of the ANQA expert panel, members of the ANQA Accreditation Commission, ANQA Board of Trustees.
